Ranthambore

Let nature be your Teacher

I Love not Man the less but Nature more, sitting beneath the cloudy rainy sky in the Ranthambore Jungle and here come the first fat spots of rains slap the ground sending up puffs of dust and releasing rich aroma of damp soil that promises a new beginning.

The peacock dancing and singing, snails coming up from below, and with the rain progressing the chirping birds going silent. The storm may pass in minutes, the briefest of respite for the parched arching land, before the skies may open wide unleashing a deluge of such intensity the jungle animals start making inwards where they can shelter the storm and keeping their cubs at bay with water no longer being at scarce.

Here in Ranthambore seeing the star-spangled sky, you sense the ancient forces of creation, the forces which gave birth to life nearly a billion of years ago, spawning a web of living organisms of miraculous creativity and complexity nourished by soil & rainfall. The extremist of temperature reins the field and adaptability

The jungle which has hilly terrain with grass land and the beautiful lake padam talao driving in zone 3 can be picturesque, though all zones have a different terrain and are equally beautiful. The driving in the jungles are equally adventurous since the diversity, habitat in all the jungles around india are different from each other.

Important lessons learned from mother nature, being AWARE, FEAR

A Jungle is famously known for there untouched habitat wide variety of landscapes an adventurous terrain, it houses some magnificent trees and none other than less the wildlife animals is there Home, as we make cities and villages are home. Drenched on the rainy day walking and thinking about jungle and us. Mother nature has balanced the world in the most equitable way, what has drawn and touched me the most about are is FEAR, AWARE and also the Seeds you sow you shall reap the same, FEAR as we living in the city fear the powerful, the people with more money where truth is overridden by the Wrong, and this is in case of the wildlife always the powerful rules the jungle, lion and tigers are king of the jungle the small cats do fear them and species like deer, sambhar fear the other big cats and same with Birds and insects too, and humans aren’t any different we have differentiated the society in caste creed religion rich poor etc. Once I read “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.”

AWARE – don’t be Jittery if you haven’t thought about it, We Meditate we are taught to become aware about our surroundings, our breath or also concentrating on certain object or symbol forgetting rest but being aware of what has been taught to us, friends if we take our normal routine in a day we at least ponder or suggest to other for being aware, ohh the thief robbed u because you weren’t aware, oh you have fallen because you weren’t aware, oh you are always submerged in your phone without being aware of the things outside of it isn’t it ?.

In jungle also not being aware can get them become a meal of predator, not being aware can lead them into fights with other cats, so do humans too we are educated by the rapid pace with social media is growing we aren’t able to differentiate between right and wrong and also get transformed & radicalised, because some people want us to act, as we aren’t AWARE of TRUTH we are falling in the trap and big cats easily goats her meal.

The last but not the least I have noticed from tigers life cycle is as they are born the cubs are being taken care by the mother, in the cubs too the male always get the first go at the meal and then the female cub, as happening in our society too, I always ponder why are we seated first to have meal and then the woman in the house, and as the cub grow older since the tiger age cycle ranges between 11-16 years, after 2-3 years they skillfully qualified to catch there pick and they are asked to moved to other territories and find their own, and at times the cubs as grown up return to the territory and ask their mother to leave and also at time even their fathers territory, now they are stronger and powerful, either by act or fight and seeing this we may also reflect some humans do such inhumanly act by forcing elders to move out of the house or go in old shelter homes. These varied nuances can be thought expressed reflected but with little actions in our controls.

And my jungle story shall always continue in the wilderness of our forest, and always inspire me, my thoughts and drawing parallels between the wild and Humans.
